A Rare Residence

The Delta Group completed a significant renovation of the Hotel Georgia while simultaneously adding the adjacent 48-storey mixed-use tower with 156 residential suites and 80,000 sf of office space on the lower 11 floors.  Owners have access to all the amenities provided by the hotel.

Faced with an extremely small footing for the tower, Delta was able to achieve a design innovation by incrementally increasing the floor plate sizes causing the 500-foot tower to flare out as it rises. The canted geometry and facades and the increasingly larger balconies at the south corner present a dynamic expression and enhance the prominence of the adjacent landmark hotel. The tower’s high-performance curtain wall includes photovoltaic panels to augment the residential tower’s power supply requirement – one of the many energy saving initiatives built into the development. The angular termination of the corner facades above the uppermost penthouse level provides a distinctive skyline profile at the top of the building, while the terra cotta cladding for the tower’s base harmonizes with the hotel’s brick.

The Private Residences at Hotel Georgia were designed with a distinctive quality that denotes luxury, comfort, and permanence. Over-height mahogany doors, limestone thresholds and oak paneled entryways lead to spacious homes with remarkably open floor plans. Carefully laid out living spaces flow seamlessly through floor-to-ceiling windows to balconies and decks that take advantage of breathtaking mountain, ocean, and urban views.
